With a total of 16 years experience in the promotions and marketing industry, Shawn has a complete understanding of the importance of branding and exposure in marketing. Most recently, Shawn worked with an industry leading agency for three years learning the art and science of SEO and link building. His aptitude and ability in this area quickly propelled him into a management position where he managed SEO accounts, led a team of link builders, and even trained new employees. Eventually, Shawn's understanding of backlink quality moved him into a more specialized role as backlink quality control manager. In this role, Shawn oversaw all incoming links to assure that they followed the search engine's strict guidelines and even performed audits for websites that had failed to do so, so that they could apply for reinclusion.
When Shawn isn't making his clients rich or promoting his own web sites he's also a successful musician. His band, In The Casket, (extreme melodic metal) was voted 2008's best metal band in NY's Capital Region by Metroland. Also, because of the band's unique style of music and Shawn's ability to promote online, they have a substantial following across much of Europe as well.
